The Parliament stopped the country a footstep away from bankruptcy. The Acting President of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said this, commenting on yesterday decisions adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.
During the parliamentary plenary meeting on Friday, Oleksandr Turchynov noted that yesterday the Verkhovna Rada adopted “brave and important decisions”. “We stopped the country a footstep away from bankruptcy and established preconditions for taking anti-crisis measures by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine,” he said, expressing gratitude to “all the deputies and patriots” who voted for this important package of laws “of economic austerity necessary for stabilization of situation.”
Oleksandr Turchynov expressed gratitude to the parliamentarians for adoption of decisions that initiated the process of restoration of trust in the court system and provision of “an opportunity to hold mobilization.” “We preserved average salary and workplaces for the patriots that will join the ranks of the Armed Forces and the National Guard, and established good conditions for them to perform their constitutional duty,” he noted.
